Whether its teaching clients to be media-genic to attract publicity and dazzle audiences with their TV and radio interviews, or to “power up their presence” with engaging storytelling that captivates and excites audiences, Deborah Genovesi’s coaching skills have guided a litany of clients throughout the years to effectively communicate messages that not only get heard but also motivate recipients to action. Her valued skills and counsel are rooted in a professional career of more than 20 years as a TV reporter and a nationally accredited public relations VP.
Extending from Hollywood’s Red Carpet and the global PR agencies Fleishman-Hillard and Golin Harris in Los Angeles to other agencies in Cleveland and upstate New York, Deborah has directed product launches, new business development, media outreach, and multi-million-dollar branding initiatives for General Electric, Sony, Nintendo, Lexus, Disney, Target, and several other Fortune 500 companies. Her client engagement also included coaching countless executives in preparation for speeches and interview appearances on all the major U.S. news networks, as well as The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Early Show, and The Martha Stewart Show.
In addition to coaching and preparing executives for interviews, Deborah also conducted scores of interviews with dignitaries such as President Jimmy Carter, CIA Director Leon Panetta, and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, and with Red Carpet celebrities Dick Clark, Ice Cube, Clint Eastwood, Michael Douglas, Ann-Margret, and Lucy Liu to name a few. She has also worked with internationally renowned authors Deepak Chopra, Neale Donald Walsch, and John Gray.
Deborah’s influence and PR guidance also extends to the credit union industry where she was frequently called upon by both Western Corporate Federal Credit Union and NCUA for her public relations counsel, coaching guidance, and video production skills.
